Meet the Counselors

Mary McInerney is a full time professional school counselor at Glebe. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a liberal arts degree.  Early in her career she worked as a middle school teacher in Fairfax County. She earned her Masters Degree in School Counseling from Virginia Tech and enjoyed working as a middle school counselor and a counselor in Arlington’s GED program  before moving to the elementary level. Kelly Polsinelli is a Professional School Counselor at both Glebe and Campbell Elementary Schools. She splits her time at Glebe on Mondays through Wednesdays, and Campbell on Thursdays and Fridays. She completed her undergraduate degree at Clarion University and graduate degree in school counseling at Liberty University. Mrs. Polsinelli has extensive background in teaching elementary grades and running a preschool. This is her first year working as a school counselor for Arlington Public Schools, and she’s excited to be working with the wonderful community.
