4th graders had a special presenter come from Arlington Parks and Recreation. The presenter was dressed as a Civil War soldier from the Union and he explained the significance of Arlington County during the war. He also talked about a soldier’s daily life in Arlington and the students got a hands-on experience with some replica equipment such as clothing, utensils, and tents.
