Nicholas Backer

This is my sixth year at Glebe teaching English Learners. I was a special education teacher at Escuela Key for 13 years before coming to Glebe. I am fluent in English, Spanish, speak some Italian and hope to learn more languages from our wonderful students!

Lindsay Estabrooks

My name is Lindsay Estabrooks and I have been a teacher at Glebe since 2021. I graduated from George Washington University with a B.A. in Psychology. I also completed my M.Ed in Education from Marymount University. Prior to teaching at Glebe, I taught 3rd grade for many years in both Fairfax County and Arlington County. I am now an English Learner Teacher and I love working with our multilingual learners. When I'm not teaching, I love to read, do yoga, walk our dog, and take advantage of all that Arlington has to offer. My husband and I also love traveling with our kiddos and watching them play sports.

Crista Cueto

My name is Crista Cueto and I am excited to be teaching at Glebe this year. Both of my kids are proud Gleagles (daughter is now a 7th grader at Dorothy Hamm and my son is a 5th grader). I graduated from Stetson University in Florida with a B.A. in Spanish and a Masters in Counseling. I taught English as a Second Language in Fairfax County's Mantua Elementary for six years. I love traveling, dancing, reading, and moonlighting as a jazz singer in the DMV metro area.
