Second Grade

I’m originally from Long Island, New York. I love being part of the Glebe Elementary community! I’m a big New York Giants fan and love cheering them on during football season. A fun fact about me is that I love trying new foods and exploring new places!

Sabina Beg teaches reading and writing to second graders. She enjoys fostering their love of language.

Sarah Moustafa is a 2nd Grade teacher at Glebe Elementary.

I'm Mr. Bieganowski. I am from New Hartford, N.Y. I have lived in Virginia since August 2017. I went to College at Mohawk Valley Community College, SUNY Cortland, and University of New England. I teach second grade at Glebe Elementary. I enjoy taking walks, bike riding, watching movies, football, music, and food!

This is my 5th year at Glebe! I grew up outside of Boston, MA. I completed my undergraduate degree at JMU (Go Dukes!) and my graduate degree at GW (Raise High!). Outside of school, I love playing pickleball, trying new restaurants, dog sitting, and traveling!

I am a Special Education teacher at Glebe Elementary and have been a teaching in Arlington Public Schools since 2010. I enjoy spending time with my family including a dog and cat, outdoor activities, and going to the beach.

Hi! I'm Giovanna Reyes-Alexander, but at Glebe I'm known as Ms. A. I came to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago to earn my master's degree in public health at Tulane University. Since then, I've lived in several places, both across the U.S. and abroad, and I've called Arlington home for just over two years. I'm married and the proud mom of three wonderful children. I love to exercise and travel, especially to the beach and internationally. I'm so grateful to be part of the Glebe community, the second-grade team, and to work here every day!
