Fifth Grade

I am Allyson Greene, and I teach 5th grade science. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland and George Mason University. I have been teaching for 30 years! My son is a freshman at James Madison University this year! Some of the things I love to do include working out, taking long walks, playing with my dogs and trying out new recipes and restaurants with my husband.

I was born and raised in Arlington and Glebe is where I went to elementary school long ago. I attended college at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and this is my 9th year teaching. In my spare time I love reading on my kindle, cooking, watching Bravo, and getting my 10,000 steps a day in through walks, runs, and hikes.

I am a 5th grade teacher at Glebe Elementary. Originally from Wisconsin, I have been teaching for 35 years and currently teach English Language Arts. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, and cooking!

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but have been in APS teaching for the past 22 years! I am currently one of the English Language Arts and social studies teachers for 5th grade. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, doing DIY project at home, and spending time with my very active children.

NJ born & raised! I have been in VA and teaching Special Education at Glebe for the last 13 years and loving it! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology & Education from Georgian Court University and my Master's Degree in Reading Curriculum and Instruction from University of Virginia.
