General Music Education

I am a native Arlingtonian and am very excited to be at Glebe this year! I attended Claremont and Drew for elementary school, Kenmore for middle school, and graduated from HB Woodlawn. I hold a bachelors degree in Music Education and a masters degree in Teaching from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, as well as a masters degree in Administration and Supervision. I also hold a Music Together certification for pre-K music. I believe that music is an essential part of the elementary educational experience. I work hard to integrate the core curriculum of language arts, math, science, social studies, and technology into my classroom. Over the course of the year, the students will sing, play, dance, and create music together. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am part of the music team at Glebe! I started my teaching career in CA as a 3rd grade teacher. I have been with APS since 2007 as a 3rd grade (Glebe) and 2nd grade teacher. I'm excited to be back at Glebe as a general music teacher! I earned my bachelor's in music in CA where I worked as a professional violinist. In my spare time, I love attending concerts, trying new cuisines, and traveling with my family.
